Mavis Amankwah is an award-winning entrepreneur specialising in marketing, PR, diversity communications and business sustainability. PR Week named Mavis one of ‘the most influential people in PR,’ for six consecutive years in their Power Book (2009-2015). She is currently an accredited advisor and spokesperson for the government’s Growth Voucher programme, which offers up to £2,000 growth vouchers for small businesses.
She formed Rich Vision in 2002 to enable corporate and commercial organisations to tap into diverse and hard-to-reach audience and has successfully steered the company to become one of the leading diversity communications agencies targeting niche audiences in the UK. Rich Visions has created campaigns with over 50 established commercial and corporate organisations.
In 2011 Rich Visions won the lucrative Digital TV switchover contract to deliver a communications campaign aimed at ethnic audiences. In 2009, Mavis launched Rich Visions Small Business, which has helped over 500 enterprises increase sales, marketing and revenue growth with business support, social media and PR. The media buying element Rich Visions Digital was added to the company in 2012.
Mavis Amankwah is also a motivational speaker who has shared platforms with high profile celebrity speakers such as Diane Abbott MP, Apprentice winner Tim Campbell, entrepreneur Levi Roots and MOBO Awards Kanya King. She has also been a keynote speaker at Business 2012, London alongside Lord Alan Sugar and Sir Richard Branson.
