Born in 1996, Nadine-Rose Johnson (known as “Glitch”) has been an active performer since the age of 3, starring in a production of Lion King as ‘Nala’ in the Pretoria Theatre, South Africa. Now aged 19, Glitch has worked with many theatrical companies and venues including The BBA Battersea Arts Centre, The Royal Ballet, the Xtreme Dance Company and The Young Vic where she played the female lead in “A Season In The Congo”; a production that starred Oscar nominated British Actor Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave).
This year alone, Glitch has performed at over 30 different venues including Proud Camden, Poetic Unity and BrewFest. She continues to run weekly workshops helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds learn performance techniques and dance routines.
As a poet her contemporary style and content have earned her much acclaim.
