Introducing Ayesha Feilsal
An artist of colour whose work is as diverse as it is exciting. Her representations of people of colour are unique yet accurately reflective, whilst her use of colour illuminate the canvas and add an aura to the subject. Ayesha’s illustrations form the basis of the #back2blackawards event media. This November Ayesha presents FORMATION a solo exhibition of her works in London Camden. Read more below.
Ayesha Feisal is a London based Visual artist working in the mediums of paint and leather. Her art reflects on the human experience through which she explores energy and emotion and how these can be represented alongside the physical form.
She recently exhibited her DREAMSPACE images at the Hoxton gallery, London. DREAMSPACE is a body of work which searches and celebrates of our capacity and potential for infinite vision. Prior to this her KALEIDOSCOPE paintings were featured in AACDD (African & African Caribbean Design Diaspora) as part of the London Design Festival, Southbank.
On November 24th 2016 Ayesha opens her solo exhibition FORMATION at the Camden Image Gallery in London. This highly anticipated show debuts her new work, a succession of paintings which echo her interest in the cosmos, human consciousness and empowerment. Her work is collected internationally and she is one of the UK’s most exciting black British female artists to emerge at this time.
